Thank you to all who made Archbishop Peter's visit to STV such a HUGE SUCCESS on Sunday! To those that sang, to those that served, to those that cooked, to those that cleaned, to the large number of folks that came for the work day on Saturday, to those that put up the new sign above our front doors, and to all those that worked quietly in the background and whose labors are known only to God: THANK YOU! Our parish family really shines when we come together to labor for such a project, and we did great work for Archbishop Peter's visit! Let's keep that momentum going as we prepare for our annual festival work work days every Saturday until the festival! More to come on that soon!

Join us for Lunch this Sunday to Build the School + New Church
Please plan to join us for a wonderful meal prepared by our St. Xenia Sisterhood and with Archbishop Peter as our honored guest this Sunday, August 27! We ask a donation of $20 for adults, $10 for students, and as always: guests and children eat for free. If you have the money we will thank you and use it for the glory of God. If you don’t – JOIN US ANYWAY because we value your company and Christian fellowship!
The benefits of participating in our parish meals are many:
Christian Fellowship: we all need mutual support as we struggle to live in the world without being consumed by the world – these meals helps us in this regard A LOT!
Supporting our Building Projects: the Lord gave us this geographical region, no to conquer it like barbarians, but to sanctify it through bringing more and more people to Christ! We need our new school, church, and hall to help us in this regard, and your tasty meal is a big part of how we build!
Supporting our Sisterhood: our sisters work for the glory of God, but everyone needs to have positive feedback. That is, everyone needs to know that their efforts are appreciated. A kind word goes a long way. But so does a good collection at our meals. :) Please do what you can, and if you aren’t in a position to help DO NOT WORRY! Stay with us and pray for our Sisterhood. With God’s help and your prayers they will continue their important work for our parish family and our neighbors!
Asking Your Prayers,
Fr. Gregory
